This Mod was designed to be a vanilla enhancement for ranged weapons in Minecraft to make the experience more challenging. This also makes raids have a fresh new mob to fight against and new discoverable items to make your weapon arsenal larger. This mod also adds some complex weapon features to make the combat more skilful and allow the player interesting ways to interact with enemy's in combat with debuff effects and spread types on shotguns.

Feature List:

- Adds a Craft-able shotgun however you don't have the best handwork and the shotgun is slow, inaccurate and the firing pin can light strike

-Full size Shotguns can't be used in the offhand slot, however if the player cuts down a handmade shotgun into a Saw'd off you can ( the saw'd off is a 2 shot capacity high spread shotgun that works in the offhand)

-Adds a new raid illager called the elder huntsman which wields the Ol' betsy and is a formidable foe

-A rare non-craftable shotgun that can me manufactured with parts found in rare endgame chests such as bastion remnants. This shotgun has faster rack speed, lower spread, quicker reload and much higher durability

-brute enchant for the shotguns, allows melee damage increase when using the shotgun (hitting the enemy with the stock) and allows for increased knockback depending on brute level

-Various Different ammo types such as:

handmade shell

rubber shell

buckshot shell

Slug

Each ammo type has differing spreads and damage with slugs being the most pin point accurate and massive range but also the most expensive. handmade's being the highest spread and least range/damage and can misfire or jam and the buckshot being a higher tier alternative to the handmade shot which does not misfire or jam.

An exception to the rule is the rubber shell which does almost no damage but deals a high amount of knockback, inflicts weakness and slowness firing a single pellet like the slug round but isn't as accurate.

**Config option to make Ol'betsy craftable (for people who just want to have fun, wont be cheap tho)

**Config options for range, misfire chance, drop chance, loot pools, damage, spread, shot delay and effect duration

**Rare Shotgun Can no longer break at 1 durability and can be repaired with netherite ingots
**The huntsman can drop varying damaged versions of ol' betsy
