“Code Cleanup”
Features/Changes:
- Huge shoutout to V10lator, who painstakingly went trough our code to fix inefficiencies and old redundant code, like useless casts. They also helped with the AI improvements that you see in this update!
- Straw is no longer replaceable (credit: mser7)
- Animania Pigs now extend EntityPig and should therefore be compatible with many more mods. (credit: njtxus)
- Animals won’t breed like crazy anymore, when a certain limit (specified in the config) is hit. They now look in a 30 block (previously 15 block) radius to count animals for this limit. (credit: Malrama)
- Animania honey now also uses Rustic’s OreDictionary name (credits: Sunconure11, Malrama, EvertX, Deshiba)
Bug Fixes:
- Ferret’s attack had a huge knockback (credit: mser7)
- Animals seemed to prefer water and crop blocks over eating and drinking from troughs (credits: Ophilla, HentaiHamster, PABadger, and many people on the Animania discord)
- In rare cases, a world with Animania could crash on load (credit: Peach774)
- Sheep could be dyed with the same color repeatedly (credit: mser7)
- Animania would only spawn female animals, sometimes with males as part of a family (discovered and fixed by: V10lator)
- Sometimes, the Animania manual could crash the client. To prevent this, additional checks have been made (credit: V10lator)
- The game would run into a dependency cycle when used together with Quark and Thermal Expansion (credits: VonZeeple, Hubry)
- Animania’s Sleep AI no longer kills server performance (credits: Corosauce, dieffenbachj, marciox25, Crowfooted, mser7, instinxx, OreCruncher, goalcam, Kazekai)
Compats:
- When feeding Animania animals and the mod “Better With Mods” was installed, the animal wouldn’t become fed. BWM will fix this from their side in their next update, for now you can prevent this issue by disabling “easybreeding” in the BWM config.
