Amethyst Lib
The shared base for every Amethyst SMP mod. Lib adds no blocks, items or gameplay of its own. It holds the pieces the other Amethyst mods share, so each of them stays small and works on its own.
What it provides
- Shared config in
config/amethyst/core.json: Discord channel and role IDs, server name and address, and the text for the server-started, sleeping and maintenance posts. - Player records and profiles: names, first join, last login and logout, last seen position, and a profile page every Amethyst mod can add to.
- Admin resets with
/smpadmin reset <player>, which clears a player's data across every installed Amethyst mod at once. - Debug and play mode: test in private debug channels, then go live with
/amethystcore play. - Server posts: "server started", "server sleeping" and maintenance notices (
/amethystcore maintenance [reason]). - Boss kill posts and a command log for admins.
- The Discord message API the other mods post through.
Discord is optional
Lib has no network code. To connect a Discord bot, also install Amethyst Discord. Without it, every Discord post from every Amethyst mod is skipped and everything else keeps working.
