Reworked consumable system!
Reworked the boring consumables familiars had to improve the overall system that managed them and added a couple more!
The already existing familiars will lose the effects from the previous consumables, a little sacrifice to pay for an overall better system, sorry to everyone affected :(
Old consumable items can be converted to their correspondant new consumable item via simple recipe
Apart from the previous consumable types, there are three new ones: spell power and spell resist consumables, each one improving what it says in the name for the familiar that consumes it.
Since now in the new system consumables are managed via components, players or devs can convert any item into a consumables, allowing for many more possibilities.
Another rework of the familiar beds
Yeah, i know they were broken, so i simplified the system. Now familiars will look out for neraby beds when they need to recover health, no need for links or any complicated thing.
The Shrinkinator has arrived!
A brand new workstation has arrived! This station allows to shrink items for your little familiars, make sure to check all possibilities via recipe viewers like JEI.
Players can now shrink any type of food, which can be given to any familiar to recover health, expanding on the previous limited food they could eat.
Shrinkinator can also shrink other type of items for other utilities, like some consumables for example.
The system is fully data driven via recipes, so feel free to edit any recipe you want or add others you might want.
Bugfixes
- Familiars now can't pass through portals, fixing some existing bugs when doing so.
- Fixed druid breed goal not working.
- Fixed sound spells that broke with latest ISS versions.
- Fixed necromancer's familiar ability undead chaos, now it won't target allies. Also witherify ability won't target allied summoned skeletons.
- Fixed some Familiar House bugs including bugs with rain and with wander mode.
- Fixed bugs with Pandora's Box summoning.
Additions
- Imporved familiars battling mechanics, including better spell usage and collaboration between allied familiars.
- Added Irons and jewlery compatibility for sound school (thanks to MEKKA).
- Added shards for the familiars that didn't have one just for creative mode.
- Added more advancements for guiding through the mod (thanks to MEKKA).
- Nerfed familiar spellbook to share less of the caster's attributes.
- Familiar trinkets now give +2 levels to all the spells casted by tamed familiars from the type of the trinket equipped (ex. Chain of the Hunter when equipped will add 2 levels to any spell casted by your summoned Hunter Familiars).
- Familiar House blocks can now be broken in creative mode.
- Updated island rituals, it now supports not consuming items in the rituals. Refer to the wiki for the new recipe JSON structure.
- Added the Magic Eye, an item used to keep track of the magic consumables progress of a familiar.
