Curse Maven Snippet
v0.2.2-beta
What's New Since v0.1.2-alpha
Compass Bar POI Icons
- Nether Portal tracking — automatically records portal locations when traveling between Overworld and Nether
- End Portal tracking — tracks stronghold portals and the main island return portal
- End Gateway tracking — detects outer End island gateway teleports
- Lodestone tracking — shows lodestone location when holding a lodestone compass (off-hand takes priority)
- Respawn Anchor tracking — tracks Nether spawn points, automatically swaps with the bed icon
- Death marker — skull icon with dimension-aware coordinates posted privately to chat, auto-clears when you return
- 6 new icon textures with normal and distant variants
- Icons shrink when over 500 blocks away and intelligently stack when overlapping
POI Block Detection
- Sleeping in or breaking a bed updates your compass automatically
- Breaking a respawn anchor or lodestone clears the marker
- Swapping between bed and respawn anchor spawn points is handled seamlessly
Storage & Reliability
- Per-world JSON storage — POI data is isolated per world/server and persists across restarts
- Fixed a critical bug where POI data could mix between worlds or be lost on restart
- Old config files from earlier versions are handled gracefully
Other Improvements
- Performance-optimized tick handlers throughout
- Cleaner dimension name detection for death messages
- Now available for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.21.1, and 1.21.11
Creating AI Assistants
- Generate Best Practices Docs
- Turn on deep research in whatever AI system you're using
- Prompt: I want you to do some deep research on best practices for . Before we get started, are there any questions you might have?
- Answer the questions and download the output as pdf docs
- Create the AI Assistant
- Create a new project and upload the docs to files
- Prompt: Access the files uploaded in this project, read them thoroughly first, and then draft a system prompt for a " Assistant" that will
- Then add the result into the instructions area for the project
- You now have an assistant that's an expert in that subject
