A full backport of the 1.16.5 version of Alex’s Mobs for Minecraft 1.12.2, including select creature and feature backports from later versions such as 1.20.1.
This project brings the creatures, behaviors, items, animations, and world interactions of Alex’s Mobs into the 1.12.2 ecosystem while preserving the original gameplay experience as closely as possible.
Overview
Alex’s Mobs is one of Minecraft’s most well-known creature expansion mods, adding a massive variety of unique animals and creatures, each with distinct AI, animations, drops, and interactions with the world.
Alex’s Mobs (Legacy) aims to faithfully recreate that experience on Minecraft 1.12.2 with a strong focus on parity, stability, and compatibility.
