Alex's Mobs Continued Delight
Alex's Mobs gives you around eighty animals. Farmer's Delight gives you a knife, a cutting board and a cooking pot. This puts the two in the same kitchen.
Every animal worth butchering now leaves something behind, every drop Alex's Mobs already had can be cut and cooked, and the parts that were never meant to be food — a void worm's eye, a soul heart, a farseer's arm — turn into twelve dishes that are worth eating and that all cost you something.
52 items. 78 recipes. No loot table is overwritten — cuts are added to what Alex's Mobs already drops, so nothing you rely on stops dropping.
Butchery
48 animals that Alex's Mobs gave no meat drop of their own now drop a cut. Not 48 different steaks — nine, grouped by the kind of animal, so the kitchen stays legible:
| Cut | Comes from | Cooks into |
|---|---|---|
| Game Cut | elephant, rhinoceros, gorilla, mungus, endergrade | Cooked Game Cut |
| Predator Cut | tiger, snow leopard, grizzly bear, sea bear, maned wolf, dropbear, tasmanian devil, skunk | Cooked Predator Cut |
| Fowl Cut | emu, roadrunner, shoebill, seagull, toucan, crow, bald eagle, potoo, blue jay, hummingbird, sunbird | Cooked Fowl Cut |
| Blubber | orca, cachalot whale | Rendered Blubber — rendered, not roasted |
| Shark Steak | hammerhead shark, frilled shark | Cooked Shark Steak |
| Calamari | giant squid, mimic octopus | Fried Calamari |
| Reptile Cut | komodo dragon, anaconda, crocodile, caiman, rattlesnake, terrapin, alligator snapping turtle | Cooked Reptile Cut |
| Small Game Cut | raccoon, anteater, platypus, seal, capuchin monkey, gelada monkey, sugar glider, jerboa, rain frog | Cooked Small Game Cut |
| Fish Fillet | devil's hole pupfish, triops | Cooked Fish Fillet |
Put a large cut back on the cutting board and it splits into smaller pieces and Animal Fat.
Insects, the undead, and anything that already drops vanilla food are deliberately left alone.
The drops that already existed
Kangaroo meat, moose ribs, catfish, lobster tails, cosmic cod and bananas were always there. Now they slice on the board and cook in the pot:
Kangaroo Stew · Moose Roast · Lobster Bisque · Catfish Gumbo · Cosmic Chowder · Gongylidia Risotto · Emu Omelette · Jungle Fruit Bowl · Rainbow Jelly Parfait · Flying Fish Roll · Banana Bread
The exotic twelve
The interesting half. Each of these is made from something that was never food, and each one gives you a real effect and charges you for it.

For server owners
Everything above has a switch. /amcd config (operators only) or config/amcdelight.json:
| Option | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
dishEffects |
true |
Turn the exotic effects off entirely — the dishes stay, as ordinary food |
dishDrawbacks |
true |
Keep the upsides, drop the downsides |
extraMeatDrops |
true |
Whether the 47 new cuts drop at all |
extraMeatDropChance |
1.0 |
0.0 never, 1.0 always |
extraMeatDropMax |
2 |
Ceiling on how many drop at once |
/amcd config menu opens the same settings as a chest GUI, so it works from a vanilla client. The two effect toggles are read when items are built, so they want a restart — the command tells you so when you change one.
