• The Workstation — a computer you build yourself. Two casings stacked become a machine with monitors; feed the lower half power and the screens light up.
• A skill wheel with four branches. Power Engineer, Liquidator, Mechanic and Agronomist, seven nodes each, opened with a right-click on a powered station.
• You pay in Ala-Fragments — one for every mastery level you earn. The whole tree is out of reach on purpose: a full run buys exactly two branches, so the specialisation is your choice.
• Forks are permanent. Take one side and the other closes for good. There is no reset and no buying your way out.
• Upgrades land where you expect them. Tools spend less energy, radiation builds up slower, your machines run faster, the sprinkler stretches its solution.
• Machine bonuses need you around. A base left alone runs on its base numbers again.
• An end-game recipe. A charged resonant crystal, a reactor circuit, resonance coils and reinforced bearings — and one craft gives you both halves at once.
