AkumaLib 4.6.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
AkumaLib 4.6.0
A crash at launch is gone, and powers can now have a world of their own. With several fruit mods installed the game could stop before the title screen, on one launch and not on the next: it no longer does. Addons get what a power needs to take players into its own world and bring them back, and a world that mends itself. The corrections of Mine Mine no Mi of 4.0.0 to 4.5.0 are all still there, each with its switch.
Requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+ and Mine Mine no Mi 0.11.6 or newer. JEI and EMI are optional.
Nothing changes for a player's setup: the network protocol is the same (8), so 4.5.0 and 4.6.0 play together. Nothing changes for an addon either: no signature was removed or changed, and an addon made for 4.0.0 to 4.5.0 works with 4.6.0.
Mine Mine no Mi fixes
- The game stopped before the title screen, now and then. With Mine Mine no Mi and one or more mods that add fruits, a launch could end on an error before the title screen, or a fruit could lose its place in the ability menu, and the next launch be fine. Every launch now goes through.
Improved
- Skypiea generates faster. New chunks of a world built on AkumaLib's cells (Sky Island's islands) take about 13 % less time to generate. The worlds are the same.
- Talent webs. A node that gives an ability shows that ability's own picture, and a web that grows to one side (a tree from its foot) fills its window when it opens.
For addon makers
- Pocket worlds. For a power that has a world of its own:
PocketGuestskeeps who was taken in, by whom and where each stood, saved with the world, and brings them back, a player who left the game included;AkumaDimensionTravel.placesets a body down standing still at the nearest free place, never inside another body or a wall;WorldMendingmakes a dimension come back as it was some time after it was dug or built in. - Block writes.
BlockWrites: a mod watches a dimension and is told of every block that changes there, whoever changed it. - Catchable creatures.
CatchableCreature.addQuietStepandaddLinger: an addon says how much closer a player may come before a creature reacts, and how much longer a creature waits before it takes off.
An addon that uses them declares versionRange = "[4.6.0,5)".
