What's new

AkumaLib 4.2.0

Four more corrections of Mine Mine no Mi, and sturdier temporary blocks. A player carrying another one is no longer taken out of the world when his rider leaves, a Logia whose power is off no longer swims through the ground, a throw no longer sends a player twice as far now and then, and a transformed player crouched under a low ceiling is no longer stood up into it. The corrections of 4.0.0 and 4.1.0 are all still there, each with its switch.

Requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+ and Mine Mine no Mi 0.11.5. JEI and EMI are optional.

No signature was removed or changed: an addon made for 4.0.0 or 4.1.0 works with 4.2.0. The network protocol is the same (6): 4.0.0, 4.1.0 and 4.2.0 play together.

Mine Mine no Mi fixes

Each has its own switch in akumalib-server.toml (section baseModFixes), on by default.

  • Riding a player. When a player sitting on another player's back left the game, the player carrying him was taken out of the world: nobody saw him any more, and he saw nothing, until he logged in again. The rider is now taken off first (fixRiderLeaving).
  • A Logia in the ground, its power off. A Logia merged in the blocks of its element went on crossing them, flying and breathing in them while its abilities were disabled (seastone, a net, handcuffs), in a protected area that refuses abilities, and kept the flight when the fruit was taken away. The blocks now close, the flight ends, and it smothers in a block like anybody (fixBlockTravel).
  • Thrown twice. A technique that hurts a player and then throws him sent that player his throw twice. Now and then he flew nearly twice as far, and higher, than the same technique did the time before. The throw is now sent once (fixDoubleThrow).
  • Crouched in a form under a low ceiling. A transformed player whose form is taller standing than crouching, crouched in a low corridor, was stood up into the ceiling: he smothered and could not crouch again until he left the form. The game is now told the right size, and he stays crouched until there is room (fixMorphPoseSize).

Fixed

  • Temporary blocks stay temporary. The walls and bridges a technique raises for a while could be made permanent: a shovel or a hoe used on them, nylium that turned to netherrack, or their owner leaving by the End's way out. They now all come down when their time is over. A wither that breaks them gets no drop, a wall no longer gets a slit on servers with claim mods, and a real block set where a temporary one stood drops its item again.
  • Markers on the screen are cleared when you change world or dimension: they could stay for hours in another world, or point at the other dimension's places.
  • Highlighted creatures that were already glowing keep their own glow when the highlight ends.

For addon makers

  • ClaimEvents.isAsking(): tells the question asked to the claim mods from a real break, for a listener of BreakEvent that must not act on the question.

All of these are described on the AkumaLib pages.
