What's new

AkumaLib 2.9.0

Ability tooltips can now say what the icons leave out. Mine Mine no Mi shows an ability's damage type, element and haki as small icons after its name, and shows nothing at all for some of them (wind, honey, rubber, rust, gravity, indirect hits). Addons can now write those in words, and say when a hit goes through armour or through an intangible Logia. Tornadoes made by addons also stop hurting a second time on contact.

No signature was removed or changed: an addon built against 2.5.0, 2.6.x, 2.7.0 or 2.8.0 keeps compiling and keeps working. That is why this is a minor bump.

Requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+ and Mine Mine no Mi 0.11.5. JEI and EMI are optional.

The network protocol is unchanged (4): a 2.9.0 client can join a 2.8.0 server and the other way round.

New

  • "Source" and "Pierces" lines in ability tooltips. An addon's ability can now show, in its tooltip:

    • Source: the element or kind of hit Mine Mine no Mi has no icon for, like "Source Wind, Indirect";
    • Pierces: "Pierces Armour, Logia" for a hit that ignores armour or lands on a Logia user who would otherwise let it pass through.

    InoFruits is the first to use them.

Fixes

  • Tornadoes made by addons no longer hurt twice. A creature caught in an addon's tornado took the tornado's own damage and, on top of it, a hit for "flying into a wall". An addon can now turn that second hit off; InoFruits' wind tornadoes do.
