AIT: Bi-Generation

AIT: Bi-Generation is a Fabric 1.20.1 addon for Adventures In Time (AIT) inspired by the bi-generation scene from Doctor Who: The Giggle.

The addon introduces The Toymaker’s Mallet, a special item capable of striking an existing TARDIS and creating a second, fully functional TARDIS from it.

Features

• Adds The Toymaker’s Mallet
• Bi-generate an existing AIT TARDIS by striking its exterior
• Creates a completely new TARDIS with its own UUID and dimension
• Copies the original TARDIS exterior
• Copies the desktop/interior
• Copies fuel and power state
• Copies TARDIS stats and loyalty data
• Copies installed subsystems, their enabled state, and durability
• Progressively clones the interior to avoid freezing the server
• Uses AIT’s real TARDIS materialization system for the new TARDIS
• Includes a custom hammer strike animation before the bi-generation
• Plays impact sounds and particle effects
• Prevents the same TARDIS from being bi-generated repeatedly
• Searches for a safe location around the original TARDIS before creating the copy

How to use

Craft the Toymaker’s Mallet, then simply left-click an AIT TARDIS exterior with the mallet.

Your character will raise the hammer, strike the TARDIS, and the newly created TARDIS will begin materializing nearby.

Once materialization is complete, the new TARDIS can be used independently from the original.

• 1 Nether Star
• 1 Blaze Rod

Configuration

A configuration file is generated at:

config/ait-bigeneration.json

It allows you to control several features of the addon, including:

• whether a TARDIS can only be bi-generated once
• whether the player must own the TARDIS
• whether the interior is cloned
• Toymaker’s Mallet cooldown
• hammer durability usage
• hammer animation duration
• AIT materialization behavior

Compatibility with other AIT versions is not guaranteed.
