AI Companion
Experimental alpha: Version 1.1.0 has been compiled and submitted to CurseForge. Compilation, Forge event validation, bytecode verification and command/event registration checks passed. Full in-game testing is still pending.
An offline wolf helper targeting Minecraft Java 26.3, Forge 66.0.11 and Java 25. Uses built-in game AI and simple rule-based replies, without an external AI service or API key.
Controls
Use /companion summon, follow, stay, status, name <name>, say <message> and dismiss.
Helper jobs
Use /companion job followed by mine for nearby exposed ores, chop for logs, harvest for ripe crops, gather for dropped items, light for nearby dark floor spaces, guard for nearby monsters, scout for resource and monster counts, or stop to cancel.
Mining and chopping use your held tool; lighting uses your held torches. Jobs have range limits and expire after 30 seconds. Block jobs target up to 16 blocks; lighting targets up to 4 placements. Placed logs and ores also qualify. Harvesting does not replant. Drops remain on the ground until gathered.
Compatibility and limits
Intended for Minecraft Java 26.3 with Forge on both client and server, not Bedrock. Building, crafting, chest management, replanting and generative conversations are not included. Features and protection-mod compatibility still require gameplay testing. This alpha is not a fully tested release.
