Aetherflame adds a handcrafted, lore-friendly warding altar designed to feel like a natural extension of Minecraft rather than a modern utility block.
Aetherflame for Minecraft 26.2 and 26.3 features enhanced physics interactions, specifically improving water behaviour and gravity simulation.
Built from familiar materials such as stone, gray glass, and weathered copper, the Aetherflame combines the look of an old protective shrine with the function of a powerful warding torch. Once placed, it prevents hostile mobs from spawning nearby and repels hostile creatures that enter its protected area.
The ward can be adjusted by right-clicking the block, cycling between 25, 50, 75, and 100 blocks of protection. As the range increases, the Aetherflame becomes more visually active, with additional flame effects and stronger illumination around its upper section.
The block is intended as a subtle, immersive way to secure larger areas such as bases, villages, courtyards, entrances, roads, or small settlements without covering the landscape in dozens of ordinary torches.
Aetherflame is deliberately kept simple and focused: a single handcrafted decorative object with a practical purpose, designed to fit naturally into survival builds and Minecraft’s existing visual language.
