Create Aeronautics: Transmission & Linkage expands the mechanical possibilities of Create Aeronautics by adding practical tools for connecting, stabilizing, and transmitting motion between moving structures.
The mod focuses on mechanical linkage gameplay. Universal joint heads and joint rods allow players to connect separate contraptions and transfer movement across them, making complex aircraft, vehicles, rotating assemblies, and articulated machines easier to build. Pneumatic connection heads and rods provide adjustable structural links, letting builds pull, push, stabilize, or constrain moving parts with configurable length, return force, and damping behavior.
For kinetic systems, the Kinetic Conversion Bearing converts the real rotation of an attached Aeronautics structure into Create stress capacity and shaft speed, enabling moving machines to interact more naturally with Create’s power network. Safety limits and blacklist handling are included to prevent unintended high-stress exploits while still preserving useful mechanical behavior.
The mod is designed for experimental engineering gameplay: building aircraft mechanisms, folding structures, suspension systems, powered hinges, stabilizers, and other contraptions that need more than simple static blocks, making Transmission & Linkage parts easier to reuse in larger Create Aeronautics projects.
