Description
Overview
AE2 Utility Additions adds a handful of small gadgets and tweaks some mechanics.
Content
- Return Bus Card: Allows an ME Interface to extract finished products from the same face after pushing ingredients.
- Phase Shifting Card: Changes the direction in which an ME Interface sends materials.
- Parallel Processing Card: Increases the parallel operation count of machines (currently only works for the Crystal Growth Chamber).
- Overflow Destruction Card: Functions identically to the Overflow Destruction Card (note: as described in the original text, it says "identical to itself" – likely a typo; retained as per source).
- Crystal Growth Chamber: Performs mixed fluid-item crafting. By default, it can only produce Fluix Crystals. Supports CraftTweaker recipe modifications.
- Phase ME Interface: Can be wirelessly bound to machines/containers within 16 blocks.
- Matter Disintegrator: Has three modes:
- Matter Disintegration Mode: Instantly breaks all breakable blocks.
- Brittle Matter Precision Analysis Mode: Instantly breaks only glass with Silk Touch precision.
- Normal Matter Processing Mode: Mines blocks at diamond-tier speed.
- Coupling Wand: Used to bind the Phase ME Interface. If used to attack an entity, it deals 30 points of custom-type damage that ignores armor and damage reduction.
- Block Storage Bus: Can read blocks, dropped items, and containers, and can also write to dropped items and containers.
- Fluix Resonance Core: Draws AE power from the connected network and automatically injects it into inventory-held devices that use AE energy. Note: consumes power.
- Common ME Interface, Common Import Bus, Common Export Bus:
- If AE2 Fluid Crafting Suite (Reset) is installed, the Common ME Interface can initiate fluid crafting.
- Can simultaneously route: Items, Fluids, Gases, Mana, and FE.
- Gases require Mekanism Energistics support.
- Mana requires Botania Applied support.
- FE requires Flux Applied support.
- Four block-form terminals, similar to Fullblock Energistics, colorable using a Color Applicator.
Changes
- The Magnet Card can now be placed into an ME Interface to attract nearby dropped items (configurable).
- CPU usage can now be restricted to either players or automation devices (configurable).
