👻 AE2 Ghost Cables

AE2 Ghost Cables is a lightweight Quality of Life (QoL) addon for Applied Energistics 2 (AE2) that introduces passable ME cables.

Walk straight through your complex cable networks without ever getting stuck or hindered by hitboxes!

✨ Features

• Passable Hitbox: Players and entities can pass freely through cables. Perfect for tight server rooms, compact bases, and walking through floors or walls.

• Complete Cable Coverage (85 Variants in total):

  • 5 Types: Glass Cable, Covered Cable, Dense Covered Cable, Smart Cable, Dense Smart Cable

  • 17 Colors: Fluix + all 16 standard Minecraft colors

• Fully Reversible Crafting:

  • Batch-craft ghost cables in bulk, or quickly convert them back to standard cables at a 1-to-1 ratio for easy upgrading.

• Full Localization: English (en_us) and Japanese (ja_jp) included.

🛠️ Recipes

1. Normal Cable → Ghost Cable

Surround 1 Glass Pane (#forge:glass_panes / #c:glass_panes) with 8 Normal ME Cables in a crafting grid to obtain 8 Ghost ME Cables.

2. Ghost Cable → Normal Cable (Reversion)

Place any Ghost ME Cable by itself into a crafting grid (shapeless) to turn it back into its standard AE2 counterpart.

(This allows you to revert them anytime to craft higher-tier AE2 cables like Smart or Dense cables, then turn them into ghost cables again!)
