What's new

QoL
Stop button:
look for the X button next to the output slot; pressing it now cancels any in-progress duplication queue once you have enough, without touching what's already produced

Per-Player Private Catalogs (major architecture change) [Note: I haven't tested it on multiplayer]

  • Catalogs, research progress, and "eaten counts" are now fully isolated per player no more fighting for each other about what items you want. Now you have yours, and they have theirs, but don't worry because the next feature we have...

Sharing!

  • New "Share" feature: select one or more researched items, type a recipient's name (or "all"), and they get a clickable chat prompt to Accept/Decline. Accepting merges the items into their own personal catalog; share your discovery!
  • Backed by a new share feature where it sends out a permission for the recipient to accept|decline <id> command through the chat prompt

!!! Due to limitations, and due to the way the original mod shared one global catalog across everyone on a server, to keep it private for you and others, the duplicator block and possibly the wireless crafting terminal now use a claim system: whoever's menu first notices an unclaimed item in the input slot claims that research; nobody else can swap it out or start a different one until it's finished or undone!!!

Duplication Upgrade expanded from 1 tier to 6

  • Original: a single "2x Duplication Upgrade" now has new additional tiers 2–6: 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x output per cycle

Energy & Research Reduction Upgrade expanded from 1 tier to 3

  • "Fuel Upgrade" got an overhaul; now it's split into 3 tiers: -33%/-66%/-99% energy cost, AND reduces the default 100-item research requirement down to 67/34/1 appropriately

Rebalanced numbers across the board

  • Generator Speed Schematic: energy generation now 16x/32x/64x (was 2x/4x/8x); fuel/coolant consumption scaled to match, keeping FE-per-fuel-item constant
  • Duplicator Speed Upgrade: speed now 16x/32x/64x (was 2x/4x/8x), with energy cost now scaling faster than the speed benefit (previously it scaled slower, making higher tiers a strictly free lunch)
  • Duplicator Yield Upgrade energy cost: reworked so efficiency degrades with tier instead of improving
  • Power Bank Capacity: 100,000,000 / 1,000,000,000 FE (was 100,000 / 5,000,000)
  • Energy Schematic: 1,000,000 / 1,000,000 / 1,000,000,000 FE capacity, 100,000 / 1,000,000 / 1,000,000,000 FE/t extraction (up from far lower originals)

Recipes

  • Duplicator, Generator, Power Bank (the base blocks) all moved off their original cheap early-game recipes onto Netherite/Crafter/Beacon-tier ingredients to have some semblance of early progression balance
  • Speed Upgrade, Schematic tier 1s, and several others updated to escalating materials matching their new power level

Blocks now face the player

  • Duplicator, Generator, and Power Bank now rotate to face you on placement, like vanilla furnaces

Mining & drops (multiple real bugs found and fixed)

  • Now breakable with a pickaxe and drops the block
  • Wrench now instantly breaks all three blocks in one hit

State-preserving pickup

  • Breaking a Duplicator/Generator/Power Bank now preserves its energy, upgrades, and inventory contents inside the dropped item, restored on placement

Bug fixes along the way

  • Schematic items (Generator upgrades) had no stack cap at all it could hold 64 in a slot meant for exactly one
  • Power Bank upgrades were capped at 16 instead of 1 (same underlying issue)
