Acuadragon100's TARDIS Gadgets
Adds various features to various TARDIS mods.
Currently supported TARDIS Mods:
Support for more TARDIS mods might be added in the future.
Features:
All features are toggleable in the config file. Textures and crafting recipes might be changed in the future (use JEI or equivalent to view recipes).
Telepathic Circuit:
Highly configurable block that can scan items and return a list of locations.
Place inside the TARDIS and use the Select button to upload the desired location to the TARDIS.
Can be configured using datapacks.
Destination Encoder
Scans the current location and writes it to a disc.
This disc can then be used in the telepathic circuit to return to the saved location.
If used inside a supported TARDIS it will instead save the TARDIS exterior position (as well as the facing direction).
It also has a few specialized variants.
Biome Encoder
Writes the biome the encoder is in to the disc.
The disc will return all nearby biomes of the same type when used in a telepathic circuit.
If inside a supported TARDIS it will save the biome of the exterior instead.
Structure Encoder
Saves any generated structures found in the same chunk as the encoder (or TARDIS exterior).
The disc will then allow the telepathic circuit to search for similar structures.
Entity Encoder
Writes data about the entity on top of it to the disc.
The TARDIS will then scan around the exterior for similar entities.
Can be rotated for your convenience.
Note: Many mobs only spawn when a player is nearby, so this block will have limited use for hostile or ambient mobs.
Specific Entity Encoder
Saves this specific entity's signature to the disc.
This allows the TARDIS to find this specific entity (including players, but this can be disabled separately) no matter where it is (unless it dies).
Can be rotated for your convenience.
Note: Uses the UUID to keep track of non-player entities, and will therefore lose track of bees when they enter a bee nest/hive.
Block Encoder
Saves the block on top of the encoder to the disc.
The TARDIS will then scan for occurrences of this block around the exterior.
Can be rotated for your convenience (useful for scanning nether portals, for example).
Note: Currently only supports blocks that are considered points of interest (for example villager workstations, nether portals, lodestones etc.).
Security Manager
Adds simple security protocols to TARDIS models without them.
Allows configuring what actions a player is allowed to perform within the TARDIS in question.
For now, only TARDIS Refined and Mini Tardis is supported by this block.
For mods without any reference to what player created it (e.g. TARDIS Refined and Mini Tardis), security protocols will be disabled initially.
They will be enabled whenever a player interacts with a security manager within that TARDIS for the first time, and that player will then receive all permissions.
This player (and anyone else granted the permission to modify permissions) can then grant permissions to other nearby players by interacting with the security manager,
or remove permissions from any player with at least one permission.
Note that any player with the permission to modify permissions can in turn remove the permission to modify permissions from any other player.
Dimension Selector
Opens a menu containing all dimensions accessible to the given TARDIS.
This menu has a search bar and a button to set the target location to the given dimension.
Dimension name, description and preview can be customized with resource packs.
TARDIS Compass
A compass that always points to the TARDIS it is linked to, provided it is in the same dimension as the exterior. It will also display the exact position and dimension in the tooltip. To link, use the item inside the TARDIS you want to link it to. Note that you cannot unlink the compass or link it to a different TARDIS once linked.
Stattenheim Remote
Summons the linked TARDIS to the position you are looking at. To link, use the item inside the TARDIS you want to link it to. Note that you cannot unlink the remote or link it to a different TARDIS once linked.
