ActiveTime
Your world only progresses while you play.
ActiveTime is a lightweight server-side mod/plugin built for private SMPs, co-op groups, and modded survival playthroughs.
Leaving a 24/7 server running shouldn't punish you. When nobody is online, world progression shouldn't advance needlessly: seasons shouldn't rotate, days shouldn't tick away, and time-based difficulty shouldn't scale up while everyone is asleep.
Using Minecraft's native tick simulation freeze (1.20.3+), ActiveTime automatically pauses the world the moment the server is empty, and resumes instantly before the next player loads in.
Available for: Paper / Purpur, Fabric, and Forge (1.20.3+)
Why use ActiveTime?
Everyone is offline: Instead of days cycling needlessly, seasons passing, and crop timers running out, the world simulation freezes completely in place.
Modded progression: Prevents difficulty from scaling up and food from spoiling while you sleep. All mod timers (seasons, day counters) pause safely.
A friend joins at 3 AM: No waking up to a different in-game week. The game resumes instantly right where the group left off.
