AcroWield Ver 1.5.0 Changelog
The Firework Tactics Update
Following the tactical improvements to the crossbow in the previous update, this release significantly overhauls the mechanics of firing "Firework Rockets" from crossbows. Additionally, we've fine-tuned the mechanics of Piercing arrows to provide a more exhilarating and well-balanced combat experience.
Firework Multishot: The True Shotgun
Similar to the multi-hit arrows introduced in Ver 1.4.0, Firework Rockets fired with the Multishot enchantment now bypass enemy invulnerability frames. Firing a highly-crafted firework at point-blank range will cause all explosions to hit a single target, unleashing overwhelming burst damage. Your high crafting costs are finally rewarded with true destructive power.
Firework Piercing: Chain Detonation (Carpet Bombing)
The mechanics of Piercing fireworks have been completely redesigned. When a firework fired with the Piercing enchantment hits a mob, it now triggers a chain of sequential explosions based on the Piercing level. This allows you to lay down a tactical line of explosions, wiping out enemies in a row like a "carpet bombing" strike.
Piercing Arrows: Increased Hits & Damage Decay (Combo Scaling)
For a better user experience, we've expanded the "Drill Hit" (multi-hit) mechanic introduced in Ver 1.4.0. Higher Piercing levels now make it easier to land multiple hits, with the maximum number of hits scaling with the level (up to 5 hits on a single mob with Piercing IV).
To balance this increase in hits, we've introduced a "Damage Decay" (Combo Scaling) system. When an arrow hits the same mob multiple times, the damage of each consecutive hit gradually decreases. This ensures that while you get the thrill of landing more hits, the overall damage output remains perfectly balanced and fair.
