Accessories Unified Fix

A companion mod for Accessories on Minecraft 1.20.1 (Fabric) that combines slot-ordering fixes, safer mouse-wheel interactions, manual slot management, and Trinkets compatibility in one project.

Features

Consistent slot ordering

Applies deterministic ordering to Accessories slot groups to help prevent client/server slot-order mismatches and unexpected slot interactions.

Mouse-wheel compatibility

Includes the Mouse Tweaks wheel-interaction fix and compatibility handling for setups using Inventory Profiles Next. Mouse Tweaks and Inventory Profiles Next are optional integrations.

Manual slot management

Use the in-game configuration screen to add or remove slot IDs and adjust slot amounts. Slot management is manual: the mod does not automatically scan the modpack's items to disable slots.

Category and order controls

Configure slot categories and slot ordering through the configuration screen.

Bundled Trinkets compatibility

Includes the Accessories Trinkets Compatibility Layer code and provides the trinkets API ID.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1

• Fabric Loader

• Fabric API

• Accessories for Fabric 1.20.1 (required)

Optional integrations

• Mod Menu: adds the in-game configuration entry.

• Cloth Config: provides the configuration screen.

• Mouse Tweaks: enables the relevant wheel-interaction fix.

• Inventory Profiles Next: supported by the scroll-interaction compatibility code.

The Trinkets compatibility layer is bundled with this version. Do not install separate Trinkets or Accessories TCLayer jars alongside it, as duplicate mod IDs or classes may cause conflicts.

Installation

1. Install Fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric API, and Accessories for 1.20.1.

2. Place the Accessories Unified Fix JAR in your mods folder.

3. Install Mod Menu and Cloth Config to use the in-game configuration screen.

4. Remove separate Trinkets and Accessories TCLayer jars when using the bundled compatibility in this release.

5. Open Mods → Accessories Unified Fix and select the configuration button to manage slots and categories.

For multiplayer, keep the Accessories version and slot-related configuration consistent between client and server. Back up your world before making changes to accessory slots.

Compatibility

Made for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Fabric. Compatibility with other Minecraft versions and mod loaders is not advertised.

Important notes

Accessories Unified Fix complements Accessories; it does not replace the base Accessories mod.

Mouse Tweaks and Inventory Profiles Next are optional. Their interaction with the Accessories screen can vary depending on other installed inventory mods and their configuration.
