Academy Chat QOL

Academy Chat QOL is a client-side Fabric mod that improves the Minecraft chat with channels, tabs, unread counters, mentions, an ignore system, and an in-game configuration menu.

Originally developed for Cobblemon Academy 2.0, the mod remains fully client-side and does not require any server-side installation.

Features

• Channel-based chat with tabs: All / General / Market / System
• Per-tab unread counters (capped at 99) and mention indicators
• Automatic message routing:
  • System messages go to System
  • Market messages are routed using keyword filters
• Full in-game configuration menu (1.1.0+)
• Message formatting options (timestamps, layout behavior)
• Username mention detection
• Ignore system with persistent storage
• Right-click context menu on chat messages:
  • Ignore player
  • Copy message
  • /tpa <player>, /msg <player>
• Emoji panel with search (requires Emojiful)
• Translations: English and French

Commands

/acq ignore <player>

/acq unignore <player>

Notes: Auto-suggestions are available for already ignored players

Compatibility

• ChatPlus: incompatible

SAFE TO UPDATE

Version 1.1.0 was tested on the Cobblemon Academy 2.0 server version 2.3.0 and confirmed to work.
