# Dig deeper with Abyss Underground Expanded
This mod provides 6 new underground dimensions to explore, a variety of custom mobs, and 2 custom bosses. As you explore deeper dimensions, resources become more abundant. The mod does not include portals and is intended to be used with the Immersive Portals mod dimension stacking feature. At this stage, Abyss Underground Expanded is intended for modpack authors and may be difficult to configure for someone inexperienced with Immersive Portals. This mod is in alpha, features may be buggy or missing.
A number of books and hints are able to found in game which provide clues on progression.
