Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.6.1
- Shots made for vehicles. Sit in a car, a truck, a plane - anything a mod lets you ride - go AFK, and the camera films it the way a car advert is cut: in behind the rear wheel and along the flank, up over the bonnet, low across the headlights, a slow turn at roof height, and away over the roof from the tailgate. Ten moves that exist only for vehicles, and never the same one twice in a row.
- It asks nothing of your mod list. There is no dependency and no list of supported mods. What counts as a vehicle here is that it is big, it is not alive and you can sit in it - so Immersive Vehicles and every content pack built on it are covered, and so are boats, minecarts and whatever vehicle mod you install next. Asked for in the comments by KiuCfu1211.
- While you are sitting in one, it is the film. No cutting away to a sheep on the hill halfway through.
- Fixes a crash with Ad Astra. Both mods carried the same mp3 decoding library along, and Java will not let two mods hand it the same package - so the game stopped before it ever reached the main menu. Every library the music side needs now sits under a name of our own, which means nothing in here can collide with anything in anyone else's mod again. Not just that one library, and not just Ad Astra.
- Fixed, properly this time: the camera handing your game back in third person, or with the HUD hidden. 1.6.0 said this was done, and it was still being reported afterwards. The camera now reads which F5 view you were in and whether F1 was already pressed before it starts, holds its own view for as long as the shot runs, and gives exactly yours back - then keeps it there for a moment in case another mod has other ideas. And if the camera starts again within ten seconds, it hands back what it noted the first time instead of what it finds now, which is the part that was wrong before.
