Absolute Afk Cinema

Go AFK and the camera takes over: slow cinematic shots of you, nearby animals, villagers, other players and interesting places – like the idle camera in racing games. Client-side, no dependencies.

What's new

1.5.1

  • Fixes a crash that stopped the game from starting. A library the music decoding brings along declared JUnit as a normal dependency instead of a test one, so 117 stray classes ended up inside the 1.5.0 jars. On its own that was only dead weight - but next to any other mod that also carries JUnit, Immersive Vehicles among them, Java refused to build the module graph and the game stopped before it ever reached the main menu. If 1.5.0 would not start for you, this is why, and it is gone.
  • Gets along with the third-person mods. Leawind's Third Person and its relatives steer your own rotation while their view is active, which fought the camera. For the length of a show the cinema now asks the Perspective API to stand down, and hands it back exactly as it found it - if you had turned your third-person mod off by hand, it stays off.
  • Gets along with vehicle mods. Immersive Vehicles places the camera one step later in the frame than we did, so its view won and the cinema never appeared. The camera now has the last word again. Nothing about this is specific to one mod: whoever moves the camera from that point in the frame, the shot still points where it meant to.
