## Abandoned Smithy 1.0.4 (Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge)

### New
- **Karma Shield**: every 20 hits you take while holding it (either hand) grants Resistance II for 20 s. A counter shows your progress. It has its own display case in the hall and is a new 1st-place leaderboard reward.
- **Storage room in the inn**: a new room north of the inn with 10 chests and 2 ender chests to keep your loot between runs. Resetting the Forge does **not** empty the chests.
- **Entrance stairs**: when the Forge is built, decorated stairs with railings and lanterns are generated from the end of the entrance path down (or up) to the terrain, so everyone can get in without placing blocks.
- **Guide book on first join**: every player gets the Forge Guide the first time they join the world.
- **Guide book overhaul**:
  - The front page now explains how to summon the Forge.
  - New "Start here" section with the Portable Forge recipe, a picture of the Forge and a map of the hall.
  - Maps of floors 1 (with numbered rooms), 2 and 3.
  - 3D models of the Piglin King, the Piglin Merchant and an elemental guardian.

### Changes
- **The Steam Gauntlet and La Sanguinaria (pistol) can now be upgraded from +1 to +5** at the anvils, and their damage grows with each level.
- **Floor 1**: clearing a room removes Poison and Slowness from the whole group, and dark rooms light up once cleared.
- **Tower return portals** now appear in the middle of each tower's boss room instead of at its entrance.
- **The pendulum blades on floor 1 doors have been removed.**
- **No more mineable netherite**: the tower spires and the block under the Ancestral Anvil are now regular blocks.

### Fixes
- **Enchanted Sword (floor 3, phase 1) now actually hurts players**:
  - Touching any part of the blade deals damage and knockback.
  - Its charge attack aims at your body and reliably hits its target and anyone nearby.
