A Better "Crafting Recipe Mod" (ABCRM Project)
There are so many mods out there named "Uncraftables" or similar which add crafting recipes for uncraftable items, but they often have a limited selection of items and are very unbalanced.
This mod isn't. It adds alternative recipes for existing items and many new ones for uncraftable items in a way that doesn't break the game or add any extra items.
Enough said.
Current uncraftable items with recipes (I can't get the images to work in the desc, refer to the project images section, if you have a way to fix it, please comment.)
-Note: I have written Armo(u)r and Colo(u)r using the British spelling, as I am more familiar with it.
Enchanted Golden Apple
Bell
Saddle
Cobweb
Iron & Gold Horse Armour
Trident
Mushroom Blocks
Red
Brown
Stem
Chainmail Armour
Just like any other armour set, just using chains.

Mycelium
Shapeless- one dirt block & two overworld mushrooms of either colour.
Nylium
Shapeless- one netherrack block & two nether fungi of the variety corresponding to the nylium you are crafting.
Special & Alternative Recipes
Chainmail Armour (Alternative)
Uses fire charges instead of chains.
Leather
Obtained by cooking rotten flesh, but ONLY in a smoker.
(Yay, the smoker's finally useful!)
You can suggest recipes in the comments, but please check the BYI.
Before You Ask (BYI)
You can't craft diamond horse armour because otherwise you wouldn't go exploring to find it, and I think that exploration is very important in Minecraft.
No, I won't add a recipe for totems anytime soon. Go build a raid farm.
No, I won't add a recipe for spawners anytime soon. Go find a dungeon or a mineshaft.
