I was using the Elytrian class in origins and I didn't like it. This data pack makes some changes that I think make the class much better/more birdlike

*note more birdlike not hyper-realistic bird-like

I have only tested on 1.16.5 but it could work on other versions idk. UPDATE: traehgniw said it works on 1.18.2 so I'll take their word for it

Change #1: Press the primary interact button to flap your wings instead of boost. Can be used with jumping to jump up two blocks or over fences

Change #2: Pressing the jump key will flying will flap your wings forward to increase forward speed

Change #3: Pressing (or pressing and holding) the secondary interact key will make you flap backward to slow you down, useful when flying in tight spaces

Change #4: Removed the claustrophobic ability cuz most birds live in an enclosed nest. Players will still want to live in the open, cuz ya know, flying

Change #5: Flapping your wings take energy (hunger bar) This is to encourage gliding

*Note make sure you press each button several times cuz it's like a bird flapping its wings, once won't do enough unless your already flying

#1 Craftable chain-mail armor (don't craft with in-game chains, use iron nuggets for better balancing)

#2 My thermal mod Soarin', because you can catch thermals to save on energy.

#3 A mini-map mod if you install Soarin' because it makes it easier to stay in thermals.
