This datapack is an Addon for Fabric versions of Apace's Origins mod. These and Fabric API are all necessary to function.

Origins Plus

Updating (almost) all of Apace's Origins to provide a refreshing but balanced experience to the races you're already familiar with. Expounding on the themes and inspiration, and removing some of the hurdles that ruin immersion early on.

Files with "Replace" in the title will remove the original Origins that got re-worked. Keep this in mind when putting the mod on a server.

Some of these changes include (But are not limited to):

Avian+:

Easily controlled slow falling and an additional mid-air jump
Faster attack speed and block-breaking speed, with reduced attack damage

Arachnid+:

Use Temporary Webs to trap others or expand your Climbing ability
Feed by killing other entities
Sunlight blinds you to enforce a nocturnal/caving-centric playstyle

Elytrian+:

Craft Chainmail Armor
Better conveyance of Claustrophobia

Shulk+:

Crouch to close your shell and take greatly reduced damage
Keep your chestplate and the first four items in your hotbar on death, not your extra inventory

Feline+:

Improved two-block jump
Drinking milk lets you mine normally for a while

Merling+:

Craft and utilize the properties of Crying Obsidian to breathe on land
Deal 2x Damage while swimming

Blazeborn+:

Hover up and down through the air, but watch your fuel gauge!
Water will freeze you instead of dealing instant damage

Soul (Phantom+):

Fluid Phasing movement
Spawn in the nether to not spawn directly under the sun
