# MineColonies Live – Colony Automation

MineColonies Live is an automation-focused addon designed to reduce micromanagement and make large colonies easier to manage — without replacing the core MineColonies gameplay.

The goal is simple: keep the colony feeling alive, but remove the repetitive and frustrating parts of managing requests, crafting, upgrades, and logistics.

### 🔧 Smart Automation Layer
- Automatically detects real colony demand (builder + worker requests)
- Syncs crafting recipes to the correct buildings (Sawmill, Stonemason, Blacksmith, etc.)
- Avoids unnecessary crafting and focuses on active needs

### 📦 Supply Frame System
- Use **Colony Supply Frame** to link external chests as colony stock
- Supports counting-only or importing into warehouse
- Helps integrate player storage into colony flow

### 📈 Stock Management
- Maintain configurable stock buffers (planks, stone, glass, etc.)
- Prevents constant shortages
- Fully configurable per item

### ⚒️ Auto Upgrades
- Builders automatically upgrade buildings based on their level
- Tracks upgrade queue and progress
- Reduces manual building management

---

### 💰 Merchant System
- Periodically visits your colony
- Sells items based on **actual colony requests**
- Buys surplus resources from your warehouse
- Uses a **credit system**:
- Export → earn credits
- Import → spend credits
- Supports manual credit deposits (e.g. gold ingots)

### 🎓 University Auto Research
- Automatically starts research when possible
- Respects available resources and requirements

---

### 📊 Dashboard & UI (McLife Book)
- Craftable **McLife Book** opens the main UI
- No need to rely on commands in survival

Includes:
- Colony overview
- Crafting / stock / upgrades
- Merchant info
- Autopilot settings
- Activity & warnings

All features are **modular** and can be enabled/disabled individually.

This mod does **NOT replace MineColonies AI**.

Instead, it builds a smart automation layer on top of:
- request system
- crafting system
- logistics

The goal is to:
- reduce friction
- improve clarity
- keep gameplay intact

## 🎮 How to Use

1. Craft the **McLife Book**
2. Right-click to open the UI
3. Enable/disable features as needed
4. Adjust autopilot level
5. Let your colony run more smoothly

## 🔧 Commands (optional)

The mod includes `/mclive` commands for:
- debugging
- advanced control
- admin usage

Normal gameplay is fully supported through the UI.
