Keepycat

A small Create addon that makes Copycat Blocks free to texture — the block used as material is no longer consumed when applied.

Features

• Works with Create's native Copycat Blocks (Panel, Step)
• Optional integration with Create: Copycats+ — if installed, all of its copycat block types (fences, doors, stairs, slabs, pipes, and more) are covered too
• Copycats+ is fully optional: Keepycat works fine with just Create installed, and will automatically detect Copycats+ if you add it later

Requirements

Installation

1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Install Create.
3. (Optional) Install Create: Copycats+ if you want its extra copycat blocks covered too.
4. Drop keepycat-<version>.jar into your mods folder.

Notes for server owners

Keepycat's behavior is calculated server-side (this is how Minecraft handles survival inventories authoritatively). Install it on the server, and on every client that connects. Whether or not Copycats+ is present must match between the server and its clients — pick one setup and keep it consistent.
