🧠 AI & Stalking

  • Smart orbit system — Herobrine positions himself behind the player using real view-direction math
  • Dimension following — he spawns near you in the Nether, the End, and the Overworld
  • 9-step gaze ray-cast with 3 escalating tiers of response

⚡ Phase System

  • 4 aggro tiers — Stalking, Watching, Hunting, Enraged
  • Phase-based speed — slow while stalking, faster than sprint when aggressive, unstoppable when enraged
  • Aggro decays over time if you leave him alone

🌫️ Fog System

  • 3 custom blood-red fog definitions
  • Fog pushes and pops dynamically with aggro tier
  • Persists through saves, restores correctly after respawn

🌍 World & Events

  • World corruption — netherrack pillars, signs, obsidian rings, torch extinguishing
  • Sleep haunting — detects when you sleep, creeps closer, may trigger nightmares
  • Knocker events — footsteps, scratching, door rattling, breathing
  • Jumpscares tied only to gaze duration and aggressive phase

👤 Herobrine Behavior

  • Fake player behavior — name tag mirrors the real player's name
  • Chat echo — 20% chance to distort and echo your own messages back
  • Death sequence — screen blackout, "Connection Lost" title, bedrock cage, then death

⚙️ Technical

  • Script API @minecraft/server 2.4.0
  • 59 hand-authored mcfunction files across 12 subsystems
  • Main AI loop every 8 ticks

⚠️ Known Limitations

  • Beta APIs must be enabled — this is required and cannot be worked around
  • Natural spawning requires Normal or Hard difficulty
