This datapack adds new features to the game including:
Thirst, A Sleep Tracker, Limited regeneration, Harder mobs, Varying mob size, Encumbrance, Ledge Grabbing, Speed paths, and a Health point display all toggleable on or off with the in-game menu. opened with the command: /function ventura:menu (command permissions required)
Functions almost identical to hunger depleting as you go about your rigorous journey. Thirst is replenished either by drinking from a bottle, or a water jug. Dehydration is a killer so make sure to carry water on you.
(on by default)
A 3 part bar that rests above your health and armor. Indicates how many days you have gone without sleep, and when empty, alerts you that phantoms will spawn at night.
(on by default)
A halfway point between having natural regeneration and having none. With this feature enabled, you are able to regenerate up to 4 full hearts naturally when both your hunger and thirst are full. When thirst is turned off, you regenerate when at full hunger. Sleeping through the night will allow you to regenerate to full health.
A new item called the Healing Salve will regenerate 3 hearts when used.
(off by default)
Don't worry! It does not have to do with how many items you're holding. You are encumbered whenever you are holding any type of water bucket, a lava bucket, or a heavy core, making it more difficult to move.
(on by default)
Most mobs will have size variations from small to large giving variety to your world.
(on by default)
Most hostile mobs will have a 1 in 20 chance to be given special effects making them more difficult.
(off by default)
Players have the ability to climb up inclines that are much higher than they would normally be able to reach by grabbing onto and climbing up ledges or other specific blocks.
(on by default)
Dirt paths will give speed to players and horses/donkeys/mules on them.
(on by default)
Displays players' health above their heads.
(off by default)
This data pack requires the "Ventura Assets" resource pack. Otherwise there will be missing textures for some items.
