VeinBreaker
Chop whole trees and mine whole ore veins by breaking just one block.
Made for Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 (and newer versions as long as the datapack format stays compatible) by Lays24MC.
What it does
Tree felling: Break one log with an axe and the entire tree comes down.
Vein mining: Break one ore with a pickaxe and the whole connected vein of that ore is mined. Only ores are affected, never the stone around them.
Both work in all directions, diagonals included, up to 32 blocks at a time.
Good to know
Your tool loses durability for every block it breaks, and Unbreaking works as usual. It will never break completely, though. VeinBreaker stops while there's still 1 durability left.
Fortune and Silk Touch work when vein mining.
Vein mining drops the XP in one go, so Mending still gets its share. Silk Touch gives no XP, just like vanilla.
Supported ores: coal, iron, copper, gold, redstone, lapis, diamond, emerald and nether quartz. Each vein only mines its own ore type.
Turning it on and off
Both features are on by default. Any player can switch them for themselves, no operator rights needed:
| Command | Effect | |
|---|---|---|
/trigger veinbreaker\_axe |
Tree felling on/off | |
/trigger veinbreaker\_pickaxe |
Vein mining on/off |
You'll get a short chat message confirming the new setting. It's saved per player, so it stays the way you left it.
