Have you ever wondered if you could mash Poppy into Red Dye, mash Dandelion into Yellow Dye, and mix the red & yellow into Orange Dyes, but why can’t you just squeeze these flowers into Orange Dyes? Well, there is the pack.
Tips:
Flowers are not the only colour sources; other items, such as Ink Sac, Bone Meal, Beetroot, etc., can also be made into dyes.
Additionally, I’ve added one-step recipes for Lapis Block, Bone Block, and Bone to smash them directly into dyes. A corresponding dye is needed in these recipes to avoid messing up the original decompressing ones.
(I’ve added a bone-to-bone-block recipe as well for better cooperation.)
Yes, these big producers have recipes!
Back to the hypothesis: What if I want to get Orange Dye by squeezing tall flowers? Well, if you are in this pack, it doesn’t matter what sequence of ingredients you’re using—two tall flowers, a tall flower with two dyes, a tall flower with two short flowers, or any other corresponding ingredients—go for it, just go for it.
Tall flowers with double products, Bone with trible, compressing blocks for nine times… I’ve coded out recipes for EVERY SINGLE possible combination. Remember, a recipe sequence involving multi-product ingredients can sometimes be reeeally complex!
Inspection! What are the four recipes shown under the “Tips” heading? (You just scrolled up to see the image, right? lol) Well, the point is that my pack also supports alternative recipes for dyeing blocks.
The Bone and tall flowers can be used as dyes, with blocks that can only be dyed one by one, except the unstackable Bed. Also, I didn’t forget that the coloured wool stuff can be re-dyed to other colours; the pack works perfectly for these colourful blocks.
I’ve already talked about so many features of this pack; guess what function I’m gonna say? Instead, I’m gonna talk about features that would not be accomplished. Why? Ew, if these features are released, I’d need to code hundreds more files into the pack, which are all highly repetitive. I’m lazy. I’m not going to deal with that. Yeh.
Q1: If the two recipes lead to the same product, may I combine the materials into one crafting grid to save a step?
A1: If you did expect the “new recipe” to have a sum of produce from the two recipes, that combination wouldn’t even work. Awww…
Q2: I saw a Rose Bush plue two Blue Dye with craft four Purple Dyes, but why wouldn't the exact recipe work with the disassembled Rose Bush?
A2: Well, you’ve stepped into the trap of the Highest Common Factor game; the classic red-blue recipe would be a neater choice. ;D
Q3: Both the dye crafting and block dyeing parts work independently, but they don’t when in the same crafting grid.
A3: Yes, the two primary functions were designed separately. You might be confused while understanding the complex recipes for colouring-mixing, but it should be free of harsh thinking for dyeing blocks.
Phew! Thank you for reading this intro; enjoy the pack!
