Slow Mining

A fully customizable datapack that reduces mining speed, making progression slower and more realistic.

This datapack reduces the mining speed of players by 75% (minecraft:block_break_speed = 0.25).

Slow Mining makes the early game and late game of a world or server more realistic.

To configure how fast players break blocks, unzip the datapack, open the folder, and navigate to:

data/slowmining/function/tick.mcfunction

Open the file and edit the value on the 2nd line of code to customize the mining speed.

If you want to disable or remove the datapack, run:

/function slowmining:disable,

otherwise the datapack will not disable correctly.
