This is Retrograde, a datapack that adds back and revamps many removed features.

Most features are tied to the Brick Pyramid structure, but some are not.

Armor Sets

The first armor set is Studded Armor, which can be crafted by combining leather and chainmail armor. This was never officially implemented ingame, but it was seen in the files. Studded armor gives a chance to negate damage.

The other armor set, Frog Armor, is inspired by Rana, one of the first mobs in minecraft. This is obtained by defeating the Giant, a boss that can be summoned by offering a stack of rubies to the Nether Reactor Core in the Brick Pyramid. This set gives two hearts for each piece you have on. The overall defensive capabilites can rival netherite if used properly.

Brick Pyramid

The Brick Pyramid is the main structure of the datapack, and contains plenty of loot. Inside, you will fight mobs coated in studded armor as well as the unreleased illusioner. In the chest, you can find rubies and quivers. Quivers make it so you don't lose ammo half the time you fire a bow with any arrow type.

Giving a stack of rubies to the nether reactor core summons the Giant. Once defeated, it drops the Frog Armor set and a cog. The cog can be used to return a sword to its pre-1.8 combat, allowing instant swings and sword blocking.
