Random Respawn

Hardcore mode is fun, but hardcore servers are sad. One false move and you might never be able to play with your server pals again. Even when solo it's always sad to lose all that hard work. New and casual players might also want to try some of that hardcore experience without being locked into the hard difficulty setting.

With this data pack you basically get the experience of hardcore without those downsides. You'll most likely be so far away from where you were that it may as well be a new game. Yet you have the benefit of potentially making your way to an old home someday, and discovering long lost homes of other players that have died and moved on.

Death is a much stiffer penalty than it otherwise would be when playing outside of hardcore mode, and the spread encourages players to explore more and fill out maps. When you do bump into another player it's likely you'll each have maps of completely different parts of the world, making them very valuable trading commodities.

Works on all MC versions which support data packs.

Works with commands disabled.

Setting spawn point with beds et cetera wont work.

Takes teams into consideration, allowing server admins to group players together.

Random Respawn 3 1.13

• NEW v3: Recipes are now wiped upon death.
• Achievements now reset upon death too.
• Technically works on MC versions up to 1.17.1, but this version was specially downgraded to function on 1.13. So the RR3 that includes the version you're playing on in its name is recommended.

Random Respawn 3 1.14-1.15.2
