How chaotic can your Minecraft survival world get?

Random Enchant adds a new twist to Minecraft survival. Every set interval, the item you're currently holding receives a randomly selected enchantment!

You never know what you're going to get. It could be useful, completely unexpected, or an unusual enchantment combination you wouldn't normally be able to obtain.

And the best part? You can customise how often it happens!

CONFIGURATION

Random Enchant includes four timer presets.

Setting Interval
Quick 10 seconds
Fast 30 seconds
Normal 60 seconds
Slow 120 seconds

Changing your timer

Use the following commands:

10 seconds
/trigger re_config set 10

30 seconds
/trigger re_config set 30

60 seconds
/trigger re_config set 60

120 seconds
/trigger re_config set 120

Your selected timer is saved for your current world session and applies independently to your player.

COMMANDS

Command Description
/trigger re_start Starts Random Enchant
/trigger re_stop Stops Random Enchant
/trigger re_config set 10 Sets timer to 10 seconds
/trigger re_config set 30 Sets timer to 30 seconds
/trigger re_config set 60 Sets timer to 60 seconds
/trigger re_config set 120 Sets timer to 120 seconds

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Install the datapack into your Minecraft world.

  2. Enter your world.

  3. Use /trigger re_start to activate Random Enchant.

  4. Choose your preferred timer.

  5. Hold an item and wait for the next enchantment!

If you're not holding an item when the timer expires, the enchantment waits until you have something in your main hand.

DEFAULT SETTINGS

  • Default timer: 60 seconds.

  • Random Enchant starts when you use /trigger re_start.

  • Players can independently start, stop and configure their timers.

INSTALLATION

  1. Download the datapack ZIP.

  2. Open your Minecraft world's folder.

  3. Navigate to the datapacks folder.

  4. Place the downloaded ZIP inside.

  5. Load or reload your world.

  6. Use /trigger re_start to begin!
