Capture mobs with the sack and keep them safely in your inventory for transportation. The datapack is completely compatible with modded entities as long as you can nametag them. You cannot put captured entities in spawners, it will just ruin the spawner, so don't try.

Make sure you add the datapack before creating the world or else the datapack will lose some functionality. But it should still be functional if that is not an option.
You can easily stop certain entities from being captured by editing the banned.json entity type tag, if you do not know how to do this then dm me with all the specifications and I can do it for you.
