This data pack is designed for the Origins mod. For the best experience, it is highly recommended to also use Pehkui and Mob Origins, though the data pack should still somewhat function without them.

Pantoslime: A rare and unsettling mutation of the common slime, the Pantoslime is a creature of deception. Its oozing form bends with unnatural precision, twisting into familiar shapes to ensnare the unwary. Where its lesser kin mindlessly absorb what they touch, the Pantoslime lures prey into false security, wearing the guise of chests, barrels, and furnaces with chilling accuracy.

🟩 Corrosive Lance [Primary + Guiseless]: Your body lurches forward, launching a razor-sharp lance of hardened slime. It pierces flesh with a sickening squelch, dealing 3 full hearts of damage and leaving behind a festering wound that melts armor and flesh.

🟩 Oozing Mimicry [Secondary]: Fix your gaze upon an interactable object and feel your form ripple, stretch, and collapse into perfect replication. A chest? A furnace? No. A trap. Each stolen guise grants its own slimy advantage. Shift again, and the disguise dissolves back into slime.

🟩 Cloak in Stillness [Sneak]: When wearing a stolen shape, you may still yourself entirely, sinking into the world’s grid like a shadow slipping between cracks. Only the keenest eyes will sense the wrongness in your stillness.

🟢 Bouncy Biology: Impact holds no terror for you. You descend from great heights only to rebound, your gelatinous form laughing at the earth’s pull. The ground may shatter, but you will not.

🟢 Tool Engulfment: Your acidic essence seeps into whatever you hold, dripping with venom. Swords poison, pickaxes corrode stone faster, and every strike leaves behind a lingering rot.

🟡 Carnivorous Sludge: Only flesh sustains you. Rotten or fresh, it matters not, for your stomach devours all toxins, leaving you immune to the sicknesses that plague lesser beings.

🟡 Caustic Presence: Your very touch is decay. Tools and armor degrade faster in your grasp, eaten away by your corrosive slime. But those who strike you suffer the same fate, their blades dull, their shields crack, all things crumbling in the face of your corrosive essence.

🟡 Compact Ooze: You are but a single block in stature; a small, squirming thing. Yet within that frame lies a predator’s patience.

🟡 Gelid Congregation: Your kindred call to you. When near lesser slimes, your wounds slowly knit shut with quiet squelches. When another Pantoslime lingers close, the healing is swift, their fellowship mending your gooey flesh.

🟡 Viscous Movement: The ground clings to you like tar, dragging at your every step. But leap, and you are free, bounding with unnatural speed.

🔴 Fractured Guise: Pain unravels you. When brought below four hearts, your disguise collapses, leaving only a quivering, vulnerable mass of slime.

🔴 Gelid Flesh: Your body, though having incredible properties, is fragile. Two hearts fewer than the average mortal possesses, a price for your malleable deceit.

🔴 Unwelcome Deceit: No villager will barter with a creature that wears lies like skin. To them, you are not a customer, you are a predator hiding in plain sight.

🔴 Viscous Fatigue: Your form strains under repeated manipulation. The use of abilities temporarily liquefies parts of your mass. These compromised sections remain inert, unable to be reshaped, until they slowly ooze back into cohesion.

🟪 Hide Block Displays [Secondary + Sneak]: An out of lore ability for the player's benefit. Toggles the rendering of all block displays. Useful in hiding some block displays that cover the screen. Other players will still see the block displays. The Pantoslime itself is unaware of any of this.

Stolen Guises

Artisan's Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Cartography Table, Crafting Table, Fletching Table, Loom, and Stonecutter.

🟩 Internal Workshop [Primary]: Your gelatinous body swirls and churns, forming a perfect crafting table grid within your translucent core.

🟢 Mender’s Respite: Every foe felled mends your tools and armor as if their fading essence weaves itself into your gear, stitching fractures and smoothing dents.

🔴 Creator’s Burden: This guise lacks the focused force for efficient demolition. Every block resists your efforts, breaking apart 25% slower than normal.

Gulper Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Barrel, Chest, Ender Chest, Shulker Box, and Trapped Chest.

🟩 False Maw [Primary]: Your gelatinous body splits open, revealing a yawning cavity ready to snatch and store. Items placed inside remain in your viscous form when you shift shapes, but only by resuming this hollow guise can you retrieve them.

🟢 Voracious Pull: Your slime trembles with unnatural hunger, exerting a faint gravitational pull on loose objects. Trinkets and treasures alike slide helplessly toward your form.

🔴 Burdened Ooze: Your expanded carrying capacity weighs down your gelatinous form, reducing mobility by 25%. You ooze forward with visible effort.

Ironhide Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Anvil, Chipped Anvil, Damaged Anvil, Grindstone, and Smithing Table.

🟩 Gelid Fortification [Primary]: Your gelatinous body hardens into a dense, rubbery mass. No attack can pierce you, but you cannot move or strike back until the effect passes.

🟢 Reinforced Ooze: Your slimy hide grows unnaturally dense, adding 6 points of armor. Weapons struggle to penetrate your reinforced goo.

🟡 Seismic Splat: Every landing from a jump sends ripples into the earth, dealing minor damage to nearby creatures as your heavy body slams down with crushing force.

🔴 Leaden Sludge: Your gelatinous form sags with unnatural density. You ooze forward at a crawl, all mobility reduced by 25% under your weight.

Jester's Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Jukebox and Note Block.

🟩 Center Stage [Primary]: You burst into a dazzling performance, commanding all eyes upon you. Nearby creatures freeze, utterly mesmerized, caught in the spotlight of your spectacle.

🟢 Jester’s Grace: Your movements become a blur of practiced elegance, dashing 50% faster and leaping 50% higher as if the very air cheers your every step.

🔴 Marked Fool: Villagers see through your act. Their whispers turn to shouts, and before you can bow, iron golems already march toward you, fists raised against the trickster in their midst.

Scorching Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Blast Furnace, Campfire, Furnace, Smoker, and Soul Campfire.

🟩 Pyroclastic Surge [Primary]: Your core flares with intense heat, emitting a blistering heatwave. Nearby creatures burst into flames as superheated slime spatter scalds them for 3 full hearts of damage.

🟢 Molten Core: This guise renders you completely unaffected by extreme heat. Flames lick harmlessly across your surface, and lava flows around you like warm syrup.

🔴 Hydrolysis: Water triggers a dangerous chemical reaction in your heated form. Rain sizzles painfully on contact, and immersion deals continuous damage as your unstable structure begins dissolving.

Verdant Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Beehive, Bee Nest, and Composter.

🟩 Verdant Surge [Primary]: Your gelatinous form pulses with energy, causing nearby plants to shudder and rapidly grow.

🟢 Photosynthetic Ooze: Bathed in sunlight, your translucent body thrums with vitality. Your wounds seal as chloroplasts within your goo convert light into regenerative energy.

🔴 Light-Starved Sludge: While out of the sun’s reach, your movement speed is reduced by 50%, as your plant-infused slime congeals into sluggish, inert goo.

Voltaic Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Dispenser, Dropper, and Hopper.

🟩 Energy Discharge [Primary]: Your core crackles with unstable power before releasing a concentrated bolt of raw energy towards your target, dealing 4 hearts of damage and leaving victims twitching.

🟢 Overcharged: Energy courses through your form, supercharging your movements. You zip across terrain 50% faster and launch yourself 50% higher with each jump.

🔴 Storm Magnet: During thunderstorms, ominous rumbles precede inevitable lightning strikes that seek out your conductive form with terrifying accuracy.

Warlock's Guise

Mimicked Blocks: Beacon, Brewing Stand, Cauldron, Chiseled Bookshelf, Enchanting Table, and Lectern.

🟩 Viscous Hex [Primary]: You secrete a tar-like curse onto your target. Their limbs grow heavy as your malignant slime infiltrates their being, slowing their movements to a crawl while your acidic magic eats away at them from within.

🟢 Arcane Ooze: Magical energies supercharge you, movements become 25% quicker, your jumps 25% higher, and your attacks 25% deadlier as magic thrums through you.

🔴 Arcane Fragility: Your magic-infused guise reacts violently to spells. Every arcane strike burns through your gelatinous body with 50% greater effect, as if your own attunement betrays you.
