# Mutandis Tweaks

A Minecraft datapack that restructures the Mutandis block tag in the Enchanted mod to focus exclusively on tree saplings and magical foliage.

## Features Offered

*   **Sapling & Foliage Focus**: Restricts standard Mutandis mutations to tree saplings (`#minecraft:saplings`) and Enchanted specialty foliage.

*   **Modded Sapling Compatibility**: Automatically includes saplings added by other installed mods because it references the global `#minecraft:saplings` tag.

*   **Junk Removal**: Completely strips Grass (`minecraft:grass`), Small Flowers (`#minecraft:small_flowers`), and Mushrooms (`minecraft:brown_mushroom`, `minecraft:red_mushroom`) from standard Mutandis rerolls.

*   **Mutandis Extremis Preservation**: Mutandis Extremis retains its full exclusive pool (crops, sugar cane, cactus, blood poppy) while inheriting this clean base pool.

## How Features Affect Player Experience

*   **No Wasted Charges**: Every Mutandis item used guarantees a sapling or magical plant instead of wasting charges on common grass blocks or wild flowers.

*   **Faster Witchery Progression**: Obtaining critical Enchanted mod saplings (Rowan, Alder, Hawthorn) required for witch altars, poppets, and circle magic is significantly faster and less tedious.

*   **Seamless Modpack Integration**: Integrates naturally into modpacks with other tree-adding mods (e.g. Biomes O' Plenty, Traverse) since any `#minecraft:saplings` block is part of the pool.

## Active Pool (Inputs & Outputs)

Mutandis can be used on and will mutate into:

*   Vanilla (or other mod's) Saplings (`#minecraft:saplings` - Oak, Birch, Spruce, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, Cherry, etc.)

*   Enchanted Saplings (`enchanted:rowan_sapling`, `enchanted:alder_sapling`, `enchanted:hawthorn_sapling`)

*   Enchanted Foliage (`enchanted:ember_moss`, `enchanted:glint_weed`, `enchanted:spanish_moss`)

## Removed Items

*   Grass (`minecraft:grass`)

*   Small Flowers (`#minecraft:small_flowers`)

*   Mushrooms (`minecraft:brown_mushroom`, `minecraft:red_mushroom`)

## Example Gameplay

1. Plant any standard sapling (such as an Oak Sapling).

2. Right-click the sapling with Mutandis.

3. The sapling will cycle directly into another vanilla or modded sapling (e.g. Rowan, Alder, Hawthorn) or magical foliage (Ember Moss, Glint Weed, Spanish Moss).

## Mutandis Extremis

Mutandis Extremis retains its full exclusive pool (crops, sugar cane, cactus, blood poppy) while inheriting this clean base pool.

## Installation

1.  Copy `enchanted_mutandis_tweaks` to `.minecraft/saves/<your_world>/datapacks/` (or if using Paxi, `config/paxi/datapacks/`).

2.  Run `/reload` in-game.
