A diamond sword that grows stronger with every kill. No mods required — just drop in and play.

 

How It Works:

 

- Each mob or player kill increases the sword's damage by +0.5 hearts

- Damage caps at +20 bonus damage (40 kills total)

- Kill count is per sword — not per player

- Works in Survival and Multiplayer

 

Installation:

 

1. Download the .zip file

2. Place it in your world's datapacks folder

3. Run /reload in game

4. Type /function killstreak:give_sword

5. Start killing — watch it grow!

 

Commands:

 

/function killstreak:give_sword — Get the sword

/scoreboard players get @s killstreak_kills — Check your kill count

Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.x

Works with Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge (no mod required)

Q: Does it work with other datapacks?

A: Yes — uses unique scoreboard objectives and attribute UUIDs to avoid conflicts.

A: Yes — repairs with diamonds like a normal diamond sword. Kill count is preserved.

A: Just run /function killstreak:give_sword again for a fresh one.
