Harvest In Peace (HIP) [Java Edition]

Harvest in peace while all the monsters rest in peace! Say good bye to all of those hostile creatures spawning in your world while also being able to eat and get hungry. Now with Java Edition support!

Peaceful Survival

If you're the kind of person that loves the experience of survival in Minecraft, like harvesting, but gets constantly disappointed because of the hostile creatures killing you or ruining your buildings, then "Harvest In Peace (HIP) is designed specially for you!

Previously, your choices were either to play in peaceful mode and lose the ability to get hungry while also having your access to certain features limited (like TNT) since there were no mobs to drop the items needed for you to craft whatever you wanted, or to play with difficulty, but being bothered all the time by creepers, skeletons, spiders, etc. which could be very frustrating and certainly have made you once or twice delete your world.

Thanks to behavior packs, it is now possible to block the spawn of every mob we want, even if we're in hard mode. This is exactly what I did. Now, when creating your world, you just have to enable this addon and enjoy your peaceful gameplay in easy, normal or hard mode. For now, the Ender Dragon and shulkers are able to spawn, since there is no way to beat the game without killing the dragon or to obtain shulker boxes without shulkers. But I can change this in the future, if you want.

Better Composters!

Composters are some of the most useful blocks in the whole game. Their ability to turn plants in bone meal is specially appreciated by us who don't like to play with skeletons. Something strange about them is that they cannot compost bamboo and, despite showing a podzol texture when the compost is ready, they never give us this item back. Well, now I made it that you can compost bamboo, when in your main hand, and that every time the composter reaches level 8 (maximum for composting) it will drop from 1 to 2 bone meals and podzol blocks.

New Recipes!

Given that there are no monsters, I also added custom recipes for items like gunpowder and phantom membrane, so you won't be in any disadvantage again by the lack of certain things without those mob drops. There are quality of life recipes too, like turning bamboo blocks into charcoal and charcoal into coal blocks as well.
