If you are noticing recipes not working, please refer to the changelogs on Planet Minecraft. This datapack is periodically updated for compatibility with the latest Minecraft version.
If the recipes in the changelogs are not working either, please let me know which recipes you have not been able to use. It may be a few days to a few months before I fix it though.
How to Use the Pack (Ingame)
Allows all Netherite tier weapons, armour, and tools, as well as any other items with durability, to be upgraded to an unbreakable tier called Enderite. The Enderite Helmet and Chestplate can be made in a Crafting Table, while the rest of the items are made in a Smithing Table. After the 1.20 minecraft update, use an amethyst shard as the smithing template where applicable.
Some items may be further upgraded (via Smithing Table) to the Void tier, which is also unbreakable. Void items are very expensive but powerful. They have 3D models. After the 1.20 minecraft update, use a netherite upgrade smithing template where applicable.
Optifine or CIT Resewn is required to view some aspects of the resource pack, such as the custom armour.
Both Enderite and Void items are already fully enchanted when crafted.
It is also possible to craft the Spawn Egg of nearly every mob with a Dragon Egg and an ingredient associated with that mob. This feature was added so that players can freely edit the Spawners they craft or collect.
Some mobs have an inferno boss spawn egg associated with them. Add a spawner to their recipe to check. The bosses wield inferno weapons and wear armour of magma, which have a chance of dropping. This is the only way to obtain these items, and they are currently the most powerful items in the datapack. Several inferno weapons have animated 3D models.
There are two bonus inferno bosses: The Dark Lord, crafted with a dragon egg, spawner, and beacon; and the riptide variant of the Inferno Drowned, crafted with a dragon egg, spawner, and block of copper.
What the Items Do
A Void Falling Guillotine allows the player to teleport to any air, water, or lava block 9 blocks ahead of them by right clicking, though it costs a portion of their health.
A Void Bowcaster fires tnt (with a fuse of 80) instead of regular arrows and ghast fireballs instead of spectral arrows.
A Void Golem Launcher does about what you'd expect, at the cost of 1 iron block, making it 4x cheaper than the traditional way to construct these village protectors.
A Staff of Unmaking can retrieve spawners, as well as multiply netherite scraps obtained from ancient debris. To use these functionalities, have your player's head 2 blocks away from the block you are trying to retrieve and right click with the Staff of Unmaking. A Void Inferno Staff of Unmaking can also pick up end portal frames, budding amethysts, and end crystals.
A Void Scythe gives 5 seconds of regeneration if you get a kill while holding it in either hand.
Enderite Katanas give speed and a jump boost if you dual wield two of them. Dragonswords give speed and a jump boost in either hand and a greater boost in both hands.
A Claymore gives strength while holding it in either hand.
Known Issues
- Custom enchantment glints do not work.
- In Minecraft versions prior to the introduction of smithing templates, Enderite Katana recipe does not unlock in recipe book (though the recipe is still usable if you know how to arrange the items)
- Recipe page is outdated; currently the Heart of the Sea is used to smith the riptide Enderite Trident, the Enchanted Golden Apple is used to smith the loyalty Enderite Trident, the Budding Amethyst is used to smith the Void Trident of Riptide, and the End Portal Frame is used to smith the Void Trident of Loyalty.

Before Defeating the Ender Dragon
Keep an eye out for the following:
- Ruined Portals, Bastion Remnats, and piglin bartering - Contain Crying Obsidian. Used to craft Respawn Anchors which are an ingredient in Dragon Eggs (a.k.a. "Enderite Ingots"). Netherite Upgrade Smithing Templates are the template used in both netherite and void upgrades - be sure to duplicate it with Diamonds when you come across one (this is a vanilla minecraft feature).
- Glowstone. Also used to craft Respawn Anchors to be used in Dragon Egg recipe.
- Shipwrecks - Buried Treasure Maps give you directions to find a Heart of the Sea. Heart of the Sea is the upgrade material for Silk Touch enderite tools and the enderite katana.
- Enchanted Golden Apples. The upgrade upgrade material for Fortune IV enderite tools.
- Ghast Tears, Ender Pearls, Blaze Rods, and Glass. After crafting Blaze Powder and Ender Pearls into Eyes of Ender, combine Eye of Ender with Ghast Tear and 7 Glass to obtain an End Crystal, an ingredient in Chorus Plant (a.k.a. "Chorus Chrystal"), an ingredient in Dragon Egg. Ghast Tear is also treated as the weapon to upgrade in the smithing recipe for Void Claws.
- Amethyst Geode - Contains Amethyst Blocks, Amethyst Shards, and Budding Amethyst. Amethyst Blocks are used in Chorus Plant Recipe, while Budding Amethyst is the upgrade material for Silk Touch void tools as well as Void Claws, Void Crossbow, Void Staff of Unmaking, and Thorns/Frost Walker void armour. Amethyst Shard is the smithing upgrade template for enderite gear.
- Wither Skeleton Skull. Used in Budding Amethyst and End Portal Frame recipes, as well as for summoning the Wither, because Beacons are also part of Budding Amethyst and End Portal Frame recipes. End Portal Frame is used to craft Fortune V tools, as well as Void Staff of Radiance (carrot on a stick), Void Golem Launcher (bow), non-thorns void armour, and the unwieldy, nonsensically destructive, injudicious Void Bowcaster (crossbow).
- Ancient Debris and Gold Ingots. Netherite Ingots are used to craft Lodestones, which are used to craft Budding Amethysts and End Portal Frames. Ancient Debris can give more Netherite Scrap if picked up using a Void Staff of Unmaking (2 Scrap) or a Void Inferno Staff of Unmaking (3 Scrap) instead of being smelted (1 Scrap).
- Totem of Undying. Used to craft Budding Amethyst and End Portal Frame.
- Spawner. Used to craft Budding Amethyst and End Portal Frame. Treated as a Block of Enderite. When you find spawners it is advised to leave them intact as you can pick them up with a Void Staff of Unmaking (or higher). The spawner type is lost when you do this, unfortunately. You also lose any materials spent on spawn eggs that were spent to change Spawner type. When you use spawn eggs on Spawners, note that any custom mob data in the spawn egg is also lost.
After Defeating the Ender Dragon
- Recommended: start farming chorus fruit for Purpur Blocks, as these are used in the Chorus Plant recipe.
- Be sure to craft a Void Staff of Unmaking (carrot on a stick) to make material acquisition much easier, and a Void Staff of Radiance (carrot on a stick) to activate Absorption for yourself and any players within 10 blocks when you right click.
- Once you are adequately geared with at least Void Leggings (grant Resistance I) or a nearby Beacon granting Resistance and/or other combat buffs, your preferred Void weapon, and some regular Golden Apples or a teammate wielding Void Staff of Radiance, consider crafting the spawn egg for and then summoning an Inferno Boss. Their weapons typically drop around 10% of the time (15% with Looting V). Be advised that attack speed does not seem to affect mobs, meaning melee mobs with slow right-hand weapons will be able to attack players rapidly for devastating damage. Their health and movement speed is somewhat adjusted to counterbalance this.
