🐉 Dragon Mounts: Hybrid Legacy

Dragon Mounts: Hybrid Legacy is an unofficial cross-breeding datapack designed for Dragon Mounts: Legacy Tweaked and Dragon Mounts: Even More Dragons on Minecraft 1.20.1.

Instead of relying only on finding each dragon breed individually, Hybrid Legacy connects the breeds of both mods through a logical hybrid breeding system.

🧬 Features

• 56 custom cross-breeding combinations

• Supports breeds from both Dragon Mounts: Legacy Tweaked and Even More Dragons

• Every supported dragon breed has at least one breeding path

• Multi-step breeding progression

• Elemental, celestial, weather, Nether, End, undead and ancient breeding branches

• Multiple logical ways to obtain certain breeds

• Cross-mod breeding between EMD and Tweaked dragons

• Designed entirely around the existing Dragon Mounts breeding system

Some hybrids are simple and intuitive:

Fire + Ice → Water

Water + Terra → Forest

Aether + Ice → Aurora

Others require longer bloodlines:

Lunar + Solar → Eclipse

End + Elder → Primal End

Nether + Elder → Primal Nether

Blood + Elder → Monarch

There are also transformations between opposing forces:

Nether + Light → Aether

Aether + Dark → Nether

The goal is to make dragon breeding feel like a progression system rather than a random collection of combinations.

📦 Requirements

This datapack requires:

• Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1

• Forge

• Dragon Mounts: Legacy Tweaked

• Dragon Mounts: Even More Dragons

Both Dragon Mounts mods are required. Hybrid Legacy references breeds from both projects and is designed specifically for them.

🔧 Installation

1. Install Dragon Mounts: Legacy Tweaked and Even More Dragons.

2. Download Dragon Mounts: Hybrid Legacy.

3. Place the .zip file inside:

<your world>/datapacks/

1. Enter the world and run:

/reload

1. The datapack is ready to use.

You do not need to extract the ZIP.
