This datapack removes the default generation for all of Mekanism's ores and their deepslate variants, replacing it with distance-based generation from the world origin. Mekanism's ores (Fluorite, Lead, Osmium, Tin, and Uranium) will now generate more frequently farther from the center of the world, and some won't generate near spawn at all. This incentivises the player to explore further in their world in order to progress through Mekanism's content, and not just stay in a giant mega-factory <500 blocks from spawn the whole game (what I usually do).
This datapack was made for the upcoming Spore: Nature's Mockery modpack.
A datapack for the mod "Distant Ores," which rebalances Lead and Silver from Oreganized to incentivize exploration.
