In Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 Snapshot 3 and 4, potion brewing becomes entirely data-driven, letting players add custom recipes or modify vanilla mechanics using data packs.
This system allows the creation of entirely custom potions with effects not normally accessible through standard brewing (like haste) and lets you fully customize brewing recipes.
This serves as both a functional datapack and an educational tech demo of the new brewing recipe format Mojang added, for any interested developers. There are all sorts of wacky potions and blocks to try out in this datapack!!!
