Cobblemon Ride Expansion (CRE) — Datapack Edition brings riding functionality to every single unrideable Pokémon in Cobblemon 1.8.1 (~910 species) in a pure, server-side data pack format!
Perfect for vanilla dedicated servers, modpacks, and multiplayer worlds.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Companion Resource Pack Required!
For player seating positions and animations to line up properly on Pokémon models, clients must activate the companion resource pack:

(Without this resource pack, riding mechanics will work, but players may appear to float or clip into models).
✨ Features
- 🌟 Ride 910+ Pokémon: Unlocks riding across land, air, and water for all unrideable species while keeping official rideable Pokémon (Charizard, Lapras, etc.) untouched.
- 🧠 Dynamic Stat Scaling: Speed, Jump, Stamina, and Acceleration scale naturally based on each Pokémon's official base stats.
- 🌍 Terrain Adaptation: Flying types fly in the air (
AIR) with ambient wind audio; Water types cruise on liquid (LIQUID) with splash sounds; others ride smoothly on land (LAND). - 🪂 Emergency Glider: Dismounting high in the air automatically grants Slow Falling (6 seconds) and wind audio to prevent fall damage.
📥 Installation
Singleplayer:
- Download
CRE-Datapack-v0.0.1.zipfrom the Files tab. - Put the file into
.minecraft/saves/<YourWorld>/datapacks/. - Enter your world (or run
/reloadin-game). - Activate the CRE Resource Pack in Options -> Resource Packs.
Dedicated Server:
- Download
CRE-Datapack-v0.0.1.zip. - Place it into
<ServerRoot>/<WorldFolder>/datapacks/. - Run
/reloadin server console or restart the server. - Have your players enable the CRE Resource Pack on their clients.
